March 8, 2018 - International Women's Day Speaking Events

Lufthansa FlyingLab - Khaliya spoke virtually at this exclusive conference 'in the air' in support of International Women's Day, March 8, 2018 - #PressforProgress. A completely female crew from Frankfurt/Main to Houston commanded the largest passenger aircraft in the world – staffed by a female team. The podium of this in-flight conference consisted of entirely of women speakers addressing digital transformation, as well as the role of women in a technology-dominated world.

 SHE-Future Conference 2018 - Oslo - Khaliya presented her keynote virtually at this groundbreaking conference in Oslo, on personal invitation by Erna Solberg, the Prime Minister of Norway. This year's theme was 'Face Your Fear' in a celebration of diversity and innovation across industries.

#ThankfulForWomen NYC - Khaliya joined global change makers to speak at Tavern on the Green in NYC for their Thankful for Women 'International Women's Day' event at supporting charities @HenryStreet & @missionsociety.



February 3, 2018 in Tulum, Mexico

CryptoPsychedelic -- Khaliya traveled to Tulum, Mexico to speak at this world bridging event. The CryptoPsychedelic Summit convened leaders in blockchain and psychedelic science to discuss new possibilities in research, innovation, and community building.


January 26, 2018 in Davos, Switzerland

CNN Money Switzerland -- In this episode of "Feeling Good," Mental Health Strategist, Khaliya, tells Amanda Kayne why she believes psychedelics to be the answer to Post Trauma Stress Disorder and depression in just three to four therapies, stating that “depression is the leading cause of disability worldwide.” Khaliya states that mental health is a human right and explains why illegal party pills, when administered correctly, could help otherwise ruined lives.

December 12th, 2017

1st International Forum on Women's Brains and Mental Health - Khaliya traveled to Lausanne, Switzerland to serve as Keynote Speaker on special invitation by The Women’s Brain Project (WBP), an international non-profit organization advocating for women's brain and mental health.

Dr. Suzana Petanceska, Program Director - Systems Biology & Systems Pharmacology, National Institute on Aging, Dr. Hadine Joffe, Director of Psycho-Oncology Research at Harvard Medical School also spoke.


November 6-9, 2017

Web Summit - Lisbon, Portugal. Khaliya keynoted “where the tech industry's A List gather" according to CNBC. Twenty two conferences connecting every industry, it defines the ecosystem. Forbes calls it "the best technology conference on the planet."

Elon Musk, Al Gore, Bono, and Arianna Huffington spoke. On Facebook alone, over 10 million people watched live in 2016.

In her talk, titled "Is med-tech ignoring #mentalhealth?" @Khaliya asks why we aren't finding answers to tackle #mentalillness.

November 12-13, 2017

World Economic Forum - Khaliya participated in the Annual Meeting of the Global Future Councils in Dubai to chart the course for systemic change in health, energy and infrastructure through breakthrough technologies related to the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Khaliya worked alongside other members of the thirty person council of health luminaries, including Dame Sally Daves, the Health Minister of Britain, and Peter Piot, co-discoverer of the Ebola Virus, among others. 


June 2017

Jury Selection Committee Convening for the 2018 Middelthon-Candler Millennium Gate Prizes - Khaliya was part of the jury that convened on the island of Zealand, Denmark at Ledreborg Castle at the end of June 2017 to select next year's Middelthon-Candler winners for the Peace, Justice and Millennium Gate Prizes.

For her service to humanity,  Khaliya received the 2016 Middelthon-Candler Peace Prize in 2016 alongside First Lady Rosalind Carter, who won the Justice Prize.


World Economic Forum Family Business Community Retreat - In June 2017 in Gstaad, Switzerland, Khaliya participated in this forum dedicated to "Growing a Legacy for Business and Society" by focusing on the global forces shaping the future of business and society, how the fourth industrial revolution is transforming the world, and responsible ownership.

Katapult Future Fest - Khaliya spoke about how "Brain Health Matters" on May 12th at this conference focused on the impact of exponential technologies in our future society.

Solve at MIT - May 8-10, 2017 Khaliya participated in Solve's annual flagship event at MIT. Solve brings private, public, not-profit and academic leaders together to solve the world's challenges.

Right Now Vatican Challenge - To participate in the 'Right Now!' Conference May 3-5, 2017, Khaliya returned to Rome to help launch “Laudato Si' Challenge" - on care for our common home - inspired by Pope Francis at Pontifical Academy of Sciences at the Vatican for an inclusive dialogue about how we are shaping the future of our planet. Unleashing the power of innovation, technology and collaboration will produce global transformation.

TED2017 Vancouver - Khaliya and Thomas Ermacora convened a Falkora Roundtable dinner at at the TED2017 Conference in Vancouver in April.

WIRED Health - On March 9th, 2017 in London, Khaliya spoke about the need for further dialogue and research into the benefits of psychedelic science for treating mental health problems.

Near Future Summit - In March 2017 in La Jolla, CA, Khaliya served as the Coordinator for The Changing Brain Capsule.

"What if most of what we knew about mental health was wrong?"

Khaliya challenges the current state of mental health treatment, provides real options for the suffering, and focuses on medical and scientific breakthroughs in desperate need of funding.

NOVUS SUMMIT 2016- United Nations General Assembly. The NOVUS Summit brings together the science, technology and innovation community from around the world to channel its expertise towards actionable changes and scalable solutions. NOVUS 2016 showcased 17 “voices of positive change” that bring together technology and humanity in support of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Middelthon-Candler Peace Prize - For her service to humanity, Khaliya received the 2016 Middelthon-Candler Peace Prize in 2016 alongside First Lady Rosalind Carter, who won the Justice Prize.

The Peace Prize honors leadership in the promotion of fraternity between peoples and nations.

April 13th, 2017

J. Luce Foundation - On April 13th, 2017, Khaliya received the Inaugural Claire Boothe Luce Award for International Service at the National Arts Club alongside her husband, Thomas Ermacora, who received the Humanitarian of the Year Award.
